YSRCP MLA Tatiparthi Chandrasekhar outlined the significant achievements of the YSRCP government in Visakhapatnam and criticized the coalition government for its shortcomings. Speaking at the party’s central office in Tadepalli on Sunday, Chandrasekhar emphasized the YSRCP’s proactive efforts in securing the Railway Zone for Andhra Pradesh and preparing the Detailed Project Report (DPR) for the Vizag Metro.
“During our tenure, we brought several reputed software companies to Visakhapatnam, contributing to the city’s growth as an IT hub. Our focus has always been on transparent governance and meaningful development,”.Chandrasekhar accused the coalition government of prioritizing nepotism and favoring institutions like Gitam University, while failing to address public grievances. He alleged that the coalition government’s mismanagement of finances and lack of accountability have betrayed the trust of the people.
Refuting claims made by TDP leader Nara Lokesh that the YSRCP neglected Visakhapatnam, Chandrasekhar highlighted Lokesh’s inefficiency during his tenure as HRD Minister. “Under Lokesh’s leadership, the Education Department saw stalled digital classes and unpaid salaries. He must explain what reforms or progress he brought to the sector,” he asserted.
The MLA reaffirmed YSRCP’s commitment to the development of Visakhapatnam and North Andhra, pointing to key initiatives undertaken during YS Jagan Mohan Reddy’s leadership. “Our government is dedicated to fulfilling promises and ensuring inclusive development for all,” Chandrasekhar concluded.
