Allagadda: The Yuvajana Sramika Rythu Congress Party (YSRCP) has once again launched a scathing attack on Allagadda MLA Bhuma Akhila Priya, accusing her of extorting money from local businesses.
In a social media post, YSRCP alleged that the TDP MLA, who was previously involved in demanding money from chicken shop owners, is now targeting tobacco warehouses. “Bhuma Akhila Priya is allegedly demanding ₹1.25 per step as a commission for allowing tobacco storage. Traders are being threatened with consequences if they fail to comply,” the party claimed.
These allegations have created a stir in the region, with business owners reportedly expressing concerns over undue pressure. However, MLA Bhuma Akhila Priya has not yet responded to these accusations.
The issue is expected to escalate as political tensions between TDP and YSRCP continue to rise ahead of upcoming elections. Local traders are now looking towards authorities for intervention and clarity on the matter.
