Tirupati, 12th February 2025: Hindu organizations and swamijis have launched a protest in front of the TTD administrative building in Tirupati, demanding the return of land allotted for Muntaz Hotel at Alipiri. The protest has turned into a hunger strike with significant participation from religious leaders.
Led by Sri Nivasananda Saraswati Swamy, the protesters have expressed their anger with the slogan “Let’s protect the seven hills of Tirumala.” They are questioning the government’s actions in relation to the land issue.
In addition, the protestors raised concerns about the absence of Deputy CM Pawan Kalyan, who previously promoted “Sanatana Dharma.” Placards questioning his whereabouts have been displayed, asking, “Where is Pawan Kalyan, who said he would do anything to protect Sanatana Dharma?”
The protestors further criticized Pawan Kalyan with the question, “Does the declaration of Warahi mean the destruction of the seven hills?”
The agitation has gained momentum, and local police have stepped in to maintain law and order. Hindu organizations are insisting that the government address their demands and ensure the protection of the land in question.
