Venkatesh’s film Sankranthiki Vasthunam is creating a massive buzz in the Coastal Andhra region, with fourth-day collections surpassing the first day’s numbers. In northern parts of the region, including Visakhapatnam and Godavari districts, which benefit the longest from the Sankranti holiday period, collections were on par with its third day, the biggest of the run. However, southern districts like Guntur and Krishna saw a slight dip as the holiday impact waned.
In the Nizam and Ceded regions, where the holiday period has ended, collections remain strong. These areas are expected to see a rise in business over the weekend, possibly recording their best day on Sunday.
Sankranthiki Vasthunam* is set to cross ₹100 crore in Telugu states by Sunday, with the possibility of surpassing ₹105 crore. The film is now targeting ₹150 crore, and if the trend continues, it could even challenge the records of Waltair Veeraya (₹172 crore) and AVPL (₹196 crore).
