The bond between cousins Ram Charan and Allu Arjun has always been strong, not just as family but also as close friends. However, recent developments have sparked widespread speculation about a possible rift between the two. The latest controversy erupted when Ram Charan unfollowed Allu Arjun on Instagram, turning it into a hot topic of discussion across the film industry and among fans.
For some time now, rumors of growing distance between the Mega and Allu families have been making the rounds. Several incidents in recent months have added fuel to these speculations. The divide reportedly became evident around the Andhra Pradesh elections when political differences surfaced between the two families. Fans, too, have seemingly split into two factions on social media, engaging in heated debates. The situation intensified when Allu Arjun was arrested, and questions were raised about why Pawan Kalyan and Ram Charan did not reach out to support him. Now, with Ram Charan’s decision to unfollow Allu Arjun, the controversy has taken center stage once again.
Until recently, Ram Charan was actively following Allu Arjun on Instagram. However, his sudden decision to unfollow his cousin has caught everyone’s attention. Interestingly, despite this move, Charan continues to follow Allu Arjun’s younger brother, Allu Sirish. Adding to the intrigue, Charan’s wife, Upasana, still follows Allu Arjun, leading to further speculation that the issue might be solely between the two actors.
Political differences seem to have played a significant role in this alleged fallout. During the Andhra Pradesh elections, Allu Arjun openly supported his friend and YSRCP candidate Shilpa Ravi in Nandyal, a move that reportedly did not sit well with the Mega family. Around the same time, Naga Babu posted a cryptic tweet, which many believed was directed at Allu Arjun. Following this, Sai Dharam Tej unfollowed Allu Arjun on social media, adding to the growing list of indications that all was not well between the families.
Rumors of a cold war between Ram Charan and Allu Arjun have been circulating since before the elections, but Arjun’s visit to Nandyal seemingly brought the differences into the open. More recently, at a Tandel event, Allu Arjun’s father, Allu Aravind, reportedly made remarks implying that Ram Charan’s upcoming film Game Changer might not perform well. This did not sit well with Mega family supporters, who criticized him for his comments. In a previous interview, Aravind had also stated that Chirutha had an average run and that Magadheera was made on a massive budget out of affection for his nephew. These comments led to heavy trolling, forcing Aravind to issue a clarification, emphasizing that Ram Charan was like a son to him and that there was no animosity between the two families.
Despite attempts to downplay tensions, Ram Charan’s latest move has reignited speculation. His decision to unfollow Allu Arjun has left fans wondering where things went wrong between the two. While neither side has issued an official statement, the ongoing buzz suggests that all is not well in the Mega-Allu camp.
