“Trust the police to handle such situations; do not take the law into your own hands”-Chief Minister Revanth Reddy
During the Police Day flag parade at the Police Martyrs Memorial in Goshamahal, Chief Minister Revanth Reddy issued a strong warning against individuals inciting communal tensions in Telangana. He emphasized that the state government would not tolerate any disruptions, particularly near religious sites, and urged law enforcement to take decisive action against those undermining public peace.
Referencing a recent incident in Secunderabad, where a crowd attempted to vandalize a hotel related to an idol desecration case, Reddy cautioned citizens against vigilante actions. “Trust the police to handle such situations; do not take the law into your own hands,” he stated.
In addition to his warning, Reddy announced the establishment of a Young India Police School in Manchirevula. This school will provide residential education for the children of police personnel and martyrs’ families. The Chief Minister commended the police force for their dedication, especially during major festivals like Ganesh Chaturthi and Muharram, despite facing challenges with resources.
