K.T. Rama Rao Offers Gift to CM Revanth Reddy, BRS leader K.T. Rama Rao has publicly called out Chief Minister Revanth Reddy for alleged corruption in the Musi River Rejuvenation Project, citing significant financial mismanagement. KTR humorously challenged the Chief Minister to spell “rejuvenation” without assistance, offering a ₹50 lakh bag as a provocative gesture regarding purported financial dealings linked to Delhi.
KTR emphasized the accomplishments of the BRS government, noting the construction of a state-of-the-art Sewage Treatment Plant (STP) capable of treating 20 crore liters of wastewater daily, as well as the establishment of 15 new bridges over the Musi River. He criticized the Congress party for its role in polluting the river, asserting, “It was during Congress rule that Musi became dirty.” Additionally, KTR remarked that Revanth Reddy had been solely inaugurating BRS projects without making any substantial contributions to Hyderabad’s development.
The BRS remains committed to advocating for Musi victims and is prepared to pursue a legal battle on their behalf.
