Guntur: A shocking incident has come to light in Kothapeta, Guntur, where the husband of a ruling party corporator allegedly created havoc under the influence of alcohol. Reports suggest that he attacked a person belonging to a particular community, leaving locals in fear.

According to locals, the corporator’s husband has been actively involved in extortion. As soon as he spots sand storage, he reportedly takes out his phone, captures photos and videos, and then intimidates the house owner to extract money. Adding to the controversy, a town planning department official is also allegedly involved in these activities, raising suspicions of corruption.

The situation escalated when the corporator’s husband not only threatened but also physically assaulted the house owner. Locals, alarmed by his actions, claim that such incidents are increasing due to the ruling party’s backing. They allege that political protection is emboldening him to engage in illegal activities without fear of consequences.
