The exit poll results for the 2025 Delhi Assembly election will be announced soon, with first trends expected by 6:30 PM. The actual vote counting will take place on February 8.
This election is a direct contest between Arvind Kejriwal’s AAP and Narendra Modi’s BJP, while Congress remains a minor player. In previous elections (2015 & 2020), exit polls underestimated AAP’s margin of victory.
Polling was largely peaceful, though both AAP and BJP traded accusations of booth capturing, fake voting, and cash-for-votes.
Victory for AAP would mean a third consecutive term, despite a strong BJP campaign led by Modi and Amit Shah, largely centered around the liquor policy scam allegations.
Kejriwal, who resigned on moral grounds after his arrest, has stated he will only return as CM if the people wish it. The final results will determine whether Delhi backs his leadership again or opts for change.
