YSRCP spokesperson Puththa Shiva Shankar Reddy criticized TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu’s Davos visit, calling it a publicity stunt with no real benefits for Andhra Pradesh. He alleged that Naidu’s previous visits (2014–19) led to grand claims about investments from companies like Microsoft, Wipro, and Jindal Steel, but none materialized.
Reddy accused Naidu of misleading the public with media hype and spending crores on campaigns while failing to deliver results. He claimed that TDP’s aligned media exaggerated Naidu’s achievements, comparing the coverage to blockbuster film promotions, while the ground reality showed no progress in attracting genuine investments.
He further stated that such empty propaganda cannot bring industrialists to the state, emphasizing the need for transparent policies and swift approvals instead of commission-based practices. He criticized Naidu’s approach as outdated and focused on personal glorification rather than the state’s development.
Contrasting this, Reddy praised Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy’s leadership, highlighting the ₹1.26 lakh crore investments secured during his 2022 Davos visit. Companies like Tech Mahindra, Adani, and Greenko have since launched projects, generating thousands of jobs and improving local employment opportunities across Andhra Pradesh.
He concluded by stating that Naidu’s current visit to Davos is just another hollow exercise, aimed at self-promotion without any tangible outcomes. Reddy urged the public to see through Naidu’s tactics and focus on leadership that delivers real results for the state.
