
The Andhra Pradesh government has announced the rollout of India’s largest green skilling initiative, aiming to train youth in renewable energy and sustainability sectors. As part of the program, the state has signed MoUs with leading organizations Suzlon and Swaniti to drive the initiative forward.
The project focuses on equipping the workforce with skills in wind energy, solar energy, and other green technologies, fostering job creation and environmental conservation. Officials highlighted that the program aligns with Andhra Pradesh’s vision of becoming a leader in renewable energy.
This collaboration marks a significant step toward sustainable development, with Suzlon contributing its expertise in wind power and Swaniti providing policy support and training frameworks. The initiative is expected to empower thousands of young individuals with future-ready skills in the green sector.
