Actor Allu Arjun recently approached the Andhra Pradesh High Court, seeking to quash a police case registered against him for allegedly violating the election code during the 2024 assembly elections in Nandyal. The case, based on an Election Commission of India directive, alleged he held a rally during a visit to support former MLA Silpa Ravichandra Kishore Reddy.
Arjun’s counsel argued that the actor’s presence was for personal reasons, unrelated to politics, and that he cannot be held responsible for the crowd outside Silpa’s residence. The High Court, providing temporary relief, directed the police not to take any action against Arjun until the final hearing on November 6.
Some are raising questions about potential connections between Allu Arjun’s case and the current popular OTT show “Unstoppable 4”, hosted by MLA and actor Nandamuri Balakrishna. Balakrishna, who is closely associated with the TDP, has fueled some speculation regarding political influences possibly at play. However, no official confirmations link Arjun’s case developments to the show or political influences directly, leaving the situation open to interpretation.
The court’s decision on November 6 is now highly anticipated, as it could clarify whether Arjun’s petition will lead to a quashing of charges or further proceedings.
